Aasmani Cottage

At 90 sq.m, Aasmaani Cottage is Bargad's smallest project by size, but illustrates principles of adaptive reuse, retrofitting and, most importantly, the rich rewards that can be reaped by involving and integrating local artisans, craftspersons and tradesfolk. Completed in a short span of six weeks, it converted a basic spatial envelope to a special 'place' with rich colour and warm textures.
