The commission was to develop an integrated master plan for a 100 acre campus for the Christian Institute for Health Sciences & Research keeping in view some existing facilities. The new proposal along was to plan and design for staff and nurses' residences, dining halls and private wards. Bargad's significant achievement was to declare 30 acres of wetlands a no build zone, thus preserving and creating a natural feature buffer zone between the Academic/Hospital on one side and the Residential on the other.
