LINAC Cancer Treatment Wing Apollo Hospital

In addition to meeting the functional aspects of design for this speciality cancer treatment centre, the retrofitting and revitalising of the LINAC room addresses the emotional as well as physical needs of a cancer patient. As designers, it was important to understand the challenges cancer patients face. We used 'nature therapy' to inform the design, which endeavours to create responsive spaces to aid healing and help restore the patients' dignity and security.
